Considered to be one of the first Gingers to come to the Islands of Hawaii. From Tahiti, this large ginger grows to a height of 10' to 12' tall, with large green leaves 3' long and 8" wide, the flower head is as large as a football, made up of a series of tight red bract clumps. Very rare and hard to find. This one is spectacular!
